Edmond Baydian is responsible for formulating and driving the company's proprietary service offerings, including software and product development, go-to-market strategies and business line management. Baydian is charged with leading and executing growth strategies specifically for the company's managed services and hosted platforms.
Prior to joining Juma, Baydian was Chief Operating Officer at the wireless application upstart Rapix. There, Baydian was responsible for product marketing, product management, business development and the firm's investor activities. He also contributed to the growth of the company's patent portfolio.
Previously, Baydian was the Director of Product Management for System Management Arts (SMARTS), an emerging network management vendor, where he propelled the company's standing within the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) market.
Baydian was a founding member and Treasurer for Calvin Alexander Networking, which was purchased by Micromuse (NASD: MUSE) in 1999 for $42M. He stayed on with Micromuse as Director of Product Marketing for a newly created application group, where he managed product roadmaps and supported sales, generating over $18M in new license revenue from major telecommunications companies such as British Telecom, SBC, Solomon Smith Barney, Sprint, among others. He also managed a global product and delivery team that serviced major markets on four continents.
Baydian began his career as a systems and network engineer servicing financial institutions in the New York area.
He earned a BA from Queens College in Economics & Business, with a concentration in Computer Science.
